Identity is everything,protect it with Duo Security. Its the leading in class of security. Keep things easy for your users but tougher for intruders. Stay protected in a multi factor authentication. If any device tries to access your applications it gives you the chance to verify if it's trustworthy.

Duo Security is a bit of a double-edged sword

Yorumlar: Duo Security is necessary and useful when trying to protect your secure access to portals and data online. However, this company hasn't quite worked out the delays and programming bugs that still come with the app.

Duo Security does resolve many issues with sensitive information and secure access, as the approved user is given sole access by having this app on the user's phone.

There are numerous delays in alerts and sometimes it appears that programming bugs cause the app to malfunction, even when using the latest version of the app.

Yorumlar: If money was not an issue, I would choose Duo Security for our organization's MFA/2FA security solution. It is backed by Cisco and their wide array of security products.

Duo Security will enable your organization to add MFA/2FA into your authentication process. Duo Security has a clean interface, and I was able to easily navigate the various pages. It has a nice app for mobile phones, both Apple iOS and Android. It can produce reports for compliance inquiries.

Duo Security is an expensive product because it is designed for enterprise installations of several thousand users who need an easy integration with the highest levels of security.

A security tool which you can rely for MFA

Yorumlar: We were asked to implement MFA for cisco anyconnect and we found DUO could do this job as cisco did not have their own solution for MFA. Implementation took less than a day and it was super easy to use. License cost is also cheap. It supports Push notification, sms and even phone call. Support is very awesome as they respond quickly.

I have not found any cons as such as the implementation was for MFA and it worked like a charm.

I have used this software for 3 years and would not think about dropping it

Yorumlar: This software was installed 3 years ago and we have had very few issues. But security and also peace of mind have increased greatly. I would not move away from this product

Having to reactivate when a user has a new phone but this is an easy process and I don't know if it can be avoided

Yorumlar: Our users and administrators have both given positive feedback with using Duo. I would recommend to organizations looking to have reliable and secure logins.

Multifactor authentication has been effective at making users have to sign in securely to our networks. Duo admin console is easy for our techs to learn and user setup takes a few minutes to complete. The device and user management for sign-ins allows us to manage the authentication more effectively.

Eksileri:

We have experienced the admin console inaccessible at times when there have been updates or outages. The timer for accepting pushes doesn't always sync up correctly.

Essential additional layer of network protection

Artılar:

Provides an additional layer of security when logging into servers, firewalls, switches etc when offline MFA security or local administrator accounts. If the internet is detected a simple notification to Approve/Disapprove is set out to the mobile app. If the internet is offline you can use rolling codes to still login whilst maintaining essential security.

Eksileri:

The administrative interface can be still confusing when setting up Users and Groups and often links are hidden away in large sections of text. Try setting up RDP and locating the Duo EXE and you'll know what I mean

Duo Security is the best for Two Factor Authentication

Yorumlar: I've had too use it to access my work accounts for many years, I can use my smartphone or my own USB fob which was given to me, so you can see I've been a captive user for a long time.

It's the best Two Factor authorization solution. Most convenient as I can use either my smartphone or a USB fob, as the 2nd factor.

Just like any two factor solution it takes much more effort than just a single factor login.

A must have for security

Yorumlar: Overall, using Duo helps to be sure that no one can access to my accounts and helps reduce the stress and insecurity.

Artılar:

Using Duo security gives me the ease of mind that no one can try to hack my email and data . I know that using this, if someone tries to abuse the information and log in to my accounts, I will immediately notified.

One of the problems is that sometimes, even with choosing the remember for 30 days option, I have to enter the passcode on my phone every time that I want to enter to my accounts.

Duo Security Ease of Use

Yorumlar: I use Duo daily, it has never failed and i am aleays able to log in and get my work started.

When working off site, I need Duo to be quick and to be able to get on my computer without waiting.

I havent had any issues. It is amost instant when asking for a push.

It's a great app for cybersecurity and authentications, also works in different platforms

It was very easy to use for work authentication.

There are no cons with Duo since it was mainly used to log into citrix as an authenticator.

A decent way to add security

Yorumlar: I think it's fine as I rather verify using the app then using a code as that takes a bit longer.

Artılar:

I like that it gives an extra level of security to our accounts for school. The verification process is simple and quick.

I think that it fails to recognize that I am the user logging in on the same computers. It's not a big issue though.

Duo Security Review

Yorumlar: Duo keeps me protected, and it's very easy to use and understand for new users.

Artılar:

Duo saves me so much time and keeps all of my sensitive information protected within my organization.

I don't like having to wait for it to send an authentication notification to my phone all the time, but that can be bypassed using the "trust this browser" feature.

Yorumlar: It is much simpler that waiting for a text with a code that has to be entered elsewhere. One click really simplifies things.

It makes log in authentication very simple. 1 click and I'm in.

I do not get alerts from Duo when I need to authenticate. I imagine I just have that option turned off and need to look into the settings, however.

Duo Security for Enterprise Authentication

We use Duo for MFA, Desktop security, VPN security and they all work from an employee's mobile device.

Sometimes the connection between the user's mobile device and Duo will unlink which requires IT support intervention - frustrating for the end user.

I love the different options provided for authentication

I love the different options provided for authentication such as duo push, phone code, and phone call. These options make it more accessible to use the software. In instances where I can't use my phone, I can simply use a code for authentication. I also like that some sites allow me to authenticate just once a week as opposed to every time. Furthermore, I like how it can connect to my other devices. I often use my Apple watch to accept the Duo code and it makes it just much easier to use.

Sometimes the code doesn't work and I have to write down a bunch of code to find one that works

Duo is Doable

I like how easy it was to navigate and use through my app on my smartphone. It made me more effective at my job and able to assess my time card.

I disliked how frustrating it could be when you didn't have your phone on you to help verify your account.
