Great Board Management Tool!

Yorumlar: Having board files in one location will cut down on the amount of Trustees needing me to track things down and will serve as a secondary backup of our precious files. Customer service is astounding, especially compared to what I experienced or see available with a more expensive, similar platform I demoed, and the interface is more modern than the other platform as well. So OnBoard looks and feels great and was well received. My life has improved since adding this feature, saving hours with creating Board materials.

This was a great cloud-based portal for full management of board materials, easy creation of Board Books, and creation of an archive in one location. This replaced a home-brewed portal that was difficult to use and clunky. Now, I can easily create and update board books instead of wasting precious time making manual, difficult updates using Adobe Pro. Great customer support.

Some features we don't have since unfortunately they cost extra. We also have a difficult usage case that has required some workarounds but that is on us for being complicated. I hope one day they allow more than one Zoom platform to be connected to the account.

Onboard has brought revolution in board communication. It securely create and organizes board materials just by a few clicks ensuring full control and better decisions making. The customer support team is wonderful and committed. It is quite easy to take charge of who accesses board information ensuring full confidentiality and data protection. This Software is Now in the Cash Flow Phase

Yorumlar: We are so disappointed with the ongoing lack of support. We have been asking for basic feature additions for years, and have even offered to pay for additional development (we are a $400M company). The software platform is clearly past the investment phase, and we regret the past few years of investment from a time and financial perspective.

The portion of the software focused on meeting orchestration is good. The feature functionality around scheduling meetings, building agendas, and aggregating attachments works well (although this doesn't carry through actually running a meeting).

During meetings, the meeting book does not automatically size to the window. At all. As users scroll through the meeting, it is very distracting to continually zoom/unzoom/scroll right/scroll down to fit information to the screen. This functionality is standard in PDF readers. Online discussions are not threaded. You may only have ONE long-running discussion with each distinct set of people. It makes the feature useless for all but the most mundane of communications. The software does not support read-only audit users. Most organizations, both for-profit and not-for-profit, need to provide access to state examiners, federal examiners, or financial auditors. Despite asking for this functionality for years, the only response is that we may buy more licenses to support temporary users, which would require manually back-allocating user permissions to all meetings and files.

Perfect combination of functionality and price

Yorumlar: This platform has allowed us to be more efficient and cut down on the frustration of sharing documents and scheduling meetings for an active and relatively large board. We have 6 board meetings a year with 6 - 8 committee meetings between each meeting. This tool helps to keep our board focused and moving forward.

There are several upgradable options and since we are budget-conscious it sometimes feels as though it can be a nickel and diming situation. That being said, I do appreciate the ability to have the platform at a relatively reasonable price point.

User-friendly; designed to please both the back-end administrator and the front-end (not necessarily tech-savvy) occasional user. Easy upload and management of documents. Comprehensive permissions functionality, from global to document-specific and meeting-specific.

All events (dinners, retreats, etc.) must be categorized as "meetings." Meetings functionality is excellent for Board and committee meetings, but not flexible for gatherings that are not meetings.

Makes all updates available to the board at any time

Yorumlar: With OnBoard, we no longer have to worry about board meetings. Updates and attachments are ready early, and it’s great that it has enabled us to document reviews and approvals transparently.

I loved the ease of gathering updates in one place with OnBoard. It’s great that it allows updates to flow from members, and we can create sections and gather updates for each section independently. I loved how we can review meeting minutes and keep attaching updates on points related to our section and arrange them to be ready before the next meeting. The documentation capabilities are high quality, as well as the chat channel that enables us to answer inquiries and discuss smoothly. The review and approval documentation mechanism with it is excellent and enhances governance within our organization.

With OnBoard, there are no cons, it keeps updates going and prepares reports and dashboards smoothly.

Yorumlar: Overall I am very pleased with the portal and am grateful to have a professional software to use. With my previous employer all agendas and packages needed to be built manually so I recognize the efficiencies that this portal allows.

I love how easy it is to build board and committee agendas and packages in OnBoard. It's a great place to store and share all relevant information for our board members, giving them easy access to any reference documents they may need, when they need them.

My only suggestion for improvement to the OnBoard portal is to allow some additional customizations i.e., changes to font style and colour.

The feature that is most impactful to our organization's use is having meeting materials all in one place, eliminating the need to print materials and distribute to members.

My lease favorite part of OnBoard is reliability. There are times that the meeting book will not build. That does not work when needing to present at a meeting, or when members need to view the materials and vote. I am also disappointed with the Customer Service response when lodging a complaint. They do not have a good system of notification when an issue is resolved. It leaves us guessing and considering looking at different vendors for a similar product.

OnBoard provides a place to organize all meetings and documents in one place, which makes it easier to find what you are looking for. It is also great during meetings to have all documents uploaded in one place and easily accessible.

It would be nice to be alerted when members RSVP their attendance plans to meetings in OnBoard, rather than remembering to login and check attendance plans.

Best for professional use.

Yorumlar: From the first sales interactions through the customer feedback meetings, I have only had excellent experiences with OnBoard. The product has performed extremely well for us, and the customer service has been excellent. The time spent creating paper packs has been significantly decreased, and it has been very helpful in meetings.

A word document may be used to create the agenda, Zoom links can be viewed from the OnBoard, the calendar has been updated, and there is a Resource Library. friendly to users. Continuously adding new features, updates, and enhancements. Integration went smoothly.

In comparison to other well-known board pack software, OnBoard operates a little bit differently, so customers who are accustomed to other types may require more assistance to get acclimated to it. Because they are a little too subtle, upload failure notifications can be overlooked if you are working quickly.

OnBoard is a must have for meetings in a digital age

Yorumlar: Paper, ink, and printer fatigue are the first savings we've enjoyed. Changes to the agenda last minute have been easily to upload where everyone can see it minutes after uploading it. Lastly, the time savings (and paper cuts) staff and the admin have from not having to do paper copies anymore has been considerable and very worthwhile. Security of the app is also great.

The ability to meet and view agendas in the OnBoard app has been critical to the bank. In the past if staff or Directors were remote, hard copy items had to be mailed at great expense to them and if there were last minute changes, those people didn't have the right documents to review. Now everything is seamlessly in one spot, organized to perfection, easy to access, and easy for the admin to upload new and revised documents so everyone can view the current information. The time savings from having to print everything is enough to pay for the system and devices to access the meetings.

This has less to do with the software and more to do with some of the features in the app are not easily understood by some older members of the Board that are not used to the technology updates. There really isn't an issue I have that OnBoard hasn't thought of and implemented.

Fast, Efficient, Intuitive

Yorumlar: Prior to using OnBoard, Board meeting preparation used to take an entire day to assemble hard copy books, plus the cost of all the paper and three ring notebooks. I can now upload the materials and finalize the Board books in 60 - 90 minutes. In addition, hard copy books had to either be hand delivered by college personnel, or shipped UPS, especially if a member was traveling. The use of OnBoard eliminated the need for all that. Plus, the Board members appreciate not having all those accumulated books to contend with.

OnBoard is very user-friendly for both the administrator and the user. This feature is especially important for users who have various levels of comfort and expertise with technology. Our college switched to OnBoard in October 2014, and before that our Board meeting books were produced on paper. OnBoard has streamlined the Board meeting preparation process, and I like the ability to make last minute changes to the materials, to which the users have access immediately. Using OnBoard is also much more convenient for those members who may be traveling; they can log into their Board materials on any device from anywhere. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, OnBoard quickly created a Zoom/OnBoard interface that allows users to long into Zoom through OnBoard, and eliminate the need for two devices. The OnBoard team reacted quickly to provide a convenient solution for a pesky problem.

Integration with our existing processes was not difficult. OnBoard provided online training to the administrators, and because the software is easy to use, it did not require multiple training sessions. OnBoard has continued to refine and add other features, some of which I cannot use since ours is a public board. The only thing I would change would be to allow an entire group of members to be blocked from viewing a section. Currently, I only have the option to block individuals. A bit inconvenient, but by no means a deal breaker. And that will probably be corrected in a future software update.

Upgrading our Board Management software to achieve greater engagement

Yorumlar: Experience has been excellent. The quality of the product is high, and the customer support superb. We were aiming to create a true board portal that is the first place the member go when they want information, through the resources, tasks functionality. Too much back and forth emailing of information was occurring. We wanted to change the way the board worked, and needed the best technology as a platform for enforcing such change.

The rich functionality of OnBoard, compared to our prior solution, sold us. A bit more expensive, but worth it. Since we are being force to transition to a new platform by our prior provider, we used the opportunity to license a best of breed solution, where the employees are clearly committed to their products.

There was a bit of learning curve, especially with the Member database, establishing groups, and roles, etc..

High Quality Product with Great Customer Support

What I liked most about OnBoard was how easy their support team made it for my organization to transition to it. And our board members have loved it! We've had other board members asking about it for their organizations.

OnBoard has Outperformed Our Expectations

Yorumlar: We have been so pleased with OnBoard since joining the platform. Migration of information to the site, trainings for Board and management, and all startups for the site were smooth and without issue. Since starting we have been very happy with the service we've received and the strength and functionality of the product. 10 out of 10. Highly recommend.

The ease of use and general intuitive nature of the platform is the best. Everything is offered on the platform so there's no need for multiple systems. But the absolute best part is the people. Their support staff has been nothing short of amazing. Any questions are answered quickly and in a friendly supportive manner. Our Board of Directors are thrilled to have everything together and easily locatable in one simple location.

While I wouldn't list this as a "con" I would say that there is plenty of room for improvement in the Assessments/Questionnaire area. Particularly in how the data that is captured is shared. I have submitted a ticket with the OnBoard support team, and they have shown true interest in improving this area and open to our idea of what we are looking for from the product.

Passageways OnBoard for Credit Union Boards of Directors

OnBoard is extremely easy for a Board Liaison to utilize to manage Board and Committee meetings. The ability to draft a template and then duplicate for future meetings saves so much time. The Resource area is a great repository of materials for easy and secure access by users.

The product is extremely easy to use, with the exception of the Minutes Builder, which I struggle with utilizing while I am projecting a meeting in live time.

I use this more than anyone at the agency and I'm liking it much better than creating meeting books via combining in PDF, then printing the books, then mailing the books.

We are all so used to the convenient features of formatting software, that I miss (in OnBoard) the ease of moving things around via File Explorer, and I also miss the hotkeys I use constantly in MS Word. Only some of the commonly-used hotkeys are available in OnBoard and others are used differently causing mistakes to be made while working in OnBoard.

A tool that captures all of the duties and responsibilities for managing the governance of a Board

It is more than just an off the shelf product the personal touch in having OnBoard expert staff coaching organizations in its features in those early days ensures you are getting the most out of the product. that one -to-one interaction really helps personalize how OnBoard can best work for your organization. The ticketing system to address technical issue has also provided timely and effective resolutions.

Its very intuitive and interacts well with the Zoom virtual platform. It is also kept up to date with evolving features to ensure the end user needs are being met. Onboard can be used on multi devises making it very accessibility.

It only has the Zoom virtual option, when organizations often use other vrital meeting options such as MS Teams.

Great service!

Yorumlar: OnBoard has been easy to use and greatly appreciated by our Trustees. They love how easy it is to find documents, and can't believe they can have all the meeting materials at their finger tips so readily. Gone are the days of paper agendas and packets of meeting materials.

I really wish there was an easier way to enter in meetings. Most of our meetings are recurring monthly, and I wish there was a way to create a recurrence feature so that I'm not having to create each meeting individually.
