Connecting to a remote machine is as simple as having the remote user log into a website and advise the consultant of a numeric code.  Another great feature is the "unattended access" feature which allows the consultant (with one time permission from the remote user) to access the remote device without requiring the presence of the remote user.  In my years of experience with FixMe.IT I have never run into an occasion where it failed to load or run with any Windows machine user.
