Comments: We have been using the Perenso systems here for over a decade. They have provided solutions for our pharmacy & grocery/chain store needs that have enabled & empowered our field force, sales & marketing teams. The last few years in particular have seen a big jump in the evolution of their systems and services. The V8 iPad solution is the latest offering and it is in alignment with our field force strategy. The combination of the application and the device allows easier interation with customers in store. Streamlined, real time connections to the database back end allows the funtionality and ease of use inherent in the iPad to be used to it's fullest. We currently use their V8 PC application but we are moving the bulk of our field for to this offering in the next few months. While not as function rich as the PC version yet more are being added with every update. 75% of our field force will use this version alone with no loss of functionality immediately and the rest will follow in 2013.

Comments: Highly recommend Perenso and V8 for iPad. The initial discussions with their sales team made me feel comfortable that we were on the right track. We felt they spoke our language and understood the needs of an Over The Counter (OTC) Pharmaceutical company.
Since going live the ongoing support we have been provided has been comprehensive and thorough.

Pros: Our current release provides our reps with an electronic interface with the wholesalers, as well as providing them IMS Data Sales History related to each account they are calling on.
We will be launching Phase 2 at our upcoming sales conference, which will provide them with comprehensive workflows and daily task management. So far we have been very happy with Perenso V8 for iPad. It has provided our sales team with an easy to use stepping stone into the world of tablet CRM. This is something new to our company, so it had to be user friendly in order to gain maximum buy in from the sales team.

Cons: Based on the fact that our CRM roll out is in 2 stages, and that stage 2 is a more comprehensive release my only real con is that we have reduced functionality at present. In saying that, the functionality that we are expecting to roll out will suit the needs of our sales team perfectly.
